This nomination is a profound honor. The Black Podcasting Awards (BPA) celebrates and uplifts the creativity, innovation, and impact of Black podcasters from across the globe. Since its founding, the BPA has served as a vital platform for recognizing the excellence and diversity of African descendant voices who are shaping culture, sparking dialogue, and building bridges of understanding.
To be named among this year’s finalists is both humbling and inspiring. Belonging to Blackness was created to amplify the voices, histories, and brilliance of people of African descent — across generations, geographies, and disciplines. Each episode explores how we remember, create, and reimagine belonging in a world that too often tries to define us narrowly. Our conversations are grounded in truth-telling, cultural reverence, and the radical joy of being unapologetically Black.
