Belonging to Blackness has also been named a 2026 Anthem Awards Finalist for social impact in the category of Education, Arts, and Culture. This recognition celebrates the importance of conversations that challenge assumptions, deepen understanding, and illuminate the diverse experiences that shape Black identity across the globe.
These honors are especially meaningful because Belonging to Blackness podcast was created to make space for the nuanced, sometimes complicated, and always necessary conversations about what it means to be Black globally. Through thoughtful interviews with scholars, artists, cultural commentators, and community voices, the podcast explores the histories, experiences, and perspectives that shape how we understand Blackness and how we understand one another.
Thank you to our listeners, guests, supporters, and community for being part of this journey with us.
Peace and blessings,
Dr. Yndia & the Belonging to Blackness, LLC team
