Nourish What’s Next: Preparing Our Minds, Bodies, and Dreams for 2026

With the New Year 2026 a few weeks away, December is a month we hold both reflection and anticipation of who we’ve been and who we’re becoming, and have the opportunity to reclaim the parts of ourselves we may have set aside while navigating 2025. As African descendant culture-shapers and influencers, innovators and pioneers, business builders, and community anchors, this time of year offers a sacred moment to prioritize our wellness in ways that feel nourishing, restorative, and empowering.

This season is a reminder that our health (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) is the foundation of every dream we dare to build. Whether we’re in the throes of caretaking loved ones, launching new ventures, or expanding long-held visions, our wellbeing is not a luxury. It’s part of our legacy.

That’s why I’m especially excited to share our December podcast episode 062 (on December 16, 2025) featuring the brilliant Sherece Brown, founder of Dr. Pabs, Pineapple is a Berry, a natural, plant-based multivitamin and wellness company inspired by her Jamaican immigrant family’s health journey. Sherece’s story is a powerful testament to what Black women create when we transform lived experience into innovation, healing, and opportunity. Her work reminds us that prioritizing wellness isn’t just a personal act, it’s also generational. It’s entrepreneurial. It’s visionary.

As we prepare for 2026, I want to invite you to think about the systems of support you deserve. What routines, supplements, or health practices does your body need more of? What boundaries are needed to protect your peace? What dreams need you well, rested, and whole?

Let this December be a month of resets and intentional choices for the new year. A time to choose rest without guilt, growth without pressure, and health without hesitation. And let Sherece’s wisdom inspire you to step into the new year not only with goals, but with the grounding that will help you thrive as you pursue them.

Happy Holiday and Cheers! Wishing you a month of calm, clarity, and care—and a powerful, well-nourished start to 2026.
