That’s right!  Belonging to Blackness, podcast is recording its 1st live show on Martha’s Vineyard on August 18, 2024, at 3pm in the Black historic area of Oak Bluffs, near the Inkwell.

Dr. Yndia will be in conversation with Joy-Ann Reid (author and MSNBC host of “AM JOY” and “THE REID OUT”) on her latest book, Medgar & Myrlie: Medgar Evers and the Love Story that Awakened America; and Goldie Taylor (author of “The Love You Save” and contributing editor for The Daily Beast), along with President and CEO Bithiah Carter (Give Black Alliance).

The topic “The Right to be Loved” is not only timely but critical given the current political, social and economic times and what it means for the future viability of African descended communities in the US and beyond.

Thanks to the podcast’s national sponsor and collaborator, Give Black Alliance, the live show is part of the #TheCouchConversations speaker series intended to engage community leaders and stakeholders to consider the issues as well as the solutions that best enhance the overall wellbeing of Black communities.

Join us live for this important discussion on Black Love & its revolutionary power.  To attend in-person or join the waitlist and receive a copy of Joy-Ann Reid’s book, Medgar & Myrlie, click the button below.

Hope to see you there!

Peace and Blessings,

Dr. Yndia and the Belonging to Blackness, LLC team
