A curator and contributor to several mixed media art exhibits nationally, Vilna’s books were also named to the Zora Canon in 2020 for one of the best 100 books ever written by an African American woman. Debuting her forthcoming book– a memoir tentatively titled, Schooled, Vilna and Yndia share adventures of being schooled in life and in academia.
