New England Blacks in Philanthropy is an organization that unites Black philanthropists, trustees and staff of grant making institutions to enhance philanthropy’s ability to address the needs of Black communities nationally and globally.
Giving Black® means: (1) educating the philanthropic community about issues that affect Blacks lives and the needs of Black children, families, and communities; (2) developing strategies to reshape the current relationship between philanthropy and Blacks and develop new connections to strengthen the power of Black philanthropy; and (3) creating tools, programs, and products to drive change through donors and institutions, and to facilitate and support communication between and among philanthropists, charities, service providers, and communities.
